Honey Bear Spirit is peeking through a portal that appears like jewels of honey with berries. I felt her presence so strongly during her creation and it was so very gentle and soft. For a being that can be portrayed as fierce she was quite different, wrapping me in a blanket of pure nurturing and love. Shamanically and symbolically bears are often associated with Healing. Her energy feels similar to the angelic realm which enfolds us with unconditional love and acceptance, exactly as we are right now with no judgements. Her physical presence feels like Mother Earth. Honey Bear Spirit is a wonderful companion who brings the gift of unconditional love and acceptance and reminds us to not only be open to receiving that from other sources, but also to direct it to ourselves. Each Spirit-Catcher is a one of a kind art piece. Even when I create a new sheep, for instance, it won’t be exactly the same. The weave will likely be different because the energy of that particular Spirit will be different. Sometimes I also hand blend colors to achieve shading/coloring effects on the needle felted Spirits and thus no two will ever look exactly alike (not to mention sometimes wool truly has a mind of it’s own!).
